Pinellas does not have much coral, but has miles and miles of rocky ledges in 30 to 65 foot depths off the southern coast.
These spots range from 30 feet to 65 feet deep; they are all ledges and rocky, live-bottom spots and are the perfect places to catch those tasty hogfish. Distance from land is 10 to 20 miles. You can spot lock or anchor easily on these fishing spots.
